September 15 through October 15 is when Hispanic Heritage is widely celebrated throughout America. Today, we're going to touch base on all things festive and get some insight from our very own Hispanic Waxologist- Adriana Gomez-Flores!
History of Celebration
National Hispanic Heritage Month is annually celebrated from September 15 to October 15 in the United States for recognizing the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. Hispanic Heritage Month provides an additional opportunity to explore the incredible impact Latinas and Latinos have had on the United States for generations. Today, the Latino population in the United States today is over 60 million, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. This makes up 18.9% of the total population and is the largest racial or ethnic group. Latinos continue to help fuel our economy and enrich our nation as entrepreneurs, athletes, artists, entertainers, scientists, public servants, and much more.

Adriana started her journey in 2021 and joined our Grandville team this October! She currently specializes in waxing and facials, as well as HydraFacials. "I love everything about the beauty industry! I love to learn new things and make everyone feel comfortable in their own skin!".
